Communities ChooseWell, a part of the Government of Alberta's Healthy U campaign, is a provincial health promotion initiative that encourages Albertans to eat right and be active. Managed by ARPA, it has been successful at encouraging and recognizing over 162 communities to promote wellness over the past four years.

Alberta Recreation and Parks Association (ARPA) is a provincial charitable not-for-profit organization with a voluntary board of directors dedicated to the promotion of recreation and parks and their benefits to the quality of life of all Albertans.
